Tradition of ancient Muslim merchants

It was the tradition of the ancient Muslim merchants to open the shop in the morning and place a small chair outside the shop. As soon as the first customer came, the shopkeeper would pick up the chair from that place and place it inside the shop.

But when another customer came, the shopkeeper would go out of his shop and take a look at the bazaar. There would be a chair lying outside the shop.
I have started the morning.

Placing the chair outside the shop was a sign that the shopkeeper had not yet started.
