Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that a network of grounds will be laid across the country. 300 grounds have been constructed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 260 in Punjab. They raise their hands with patience.
He said that a new sports policy has been introduced and efforts are being made for the youth of Pakistan to participate in international sports. New Zealand has a population of 5 million and there are more grounds than Pakistan.
He said that first grounds will be constructed for the youth. Sports can help a person to overcome difficulties while sports can teach you to compete. You have to learn from defeat. You have spent 21 years of your life in international sports grounds.
It may be recalled that for the first time in the history of the country, four new projects worth Rs. Also includes mega projects.
