A report by a foreign news agency says that the corona vaccine being given in China is proving to be effective in preventing the Delta strain of the Indian corona virus.
Shaoi Ming, a researcher at the Chinese CDC, says that no vaccine can provide 100 percent protection against infectious diseases, but the available vaccines can still control different types of corona.
Research has shown that China’s native corona virus vaccines actively reduce the number of severe cases and deaths.
Feng Zhijian, another researcher at the CDC, said that according to the available results, the Indian coronavirus could reduce protection against the Delta vaccine, but the current vaccine is still having protective effects.
The corona delta type is almost twice as deadly as the first type of virus, which spreads so rapidly that patients are more likely to develop severe symptoms.
