ISLAMABAD: Asim Saleem Bajwa has resigned from the post of Chairman C-Pack Authority.

According to details, Chairman Pak-China Economic Corridor (CPEC) Lieutenant General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa has resigned from his post.

Asim Saleem Bajwa said in his message on social networking site Twitter that he was resigning from the post of Chairman C-Pac Authority.

He said that he was thankful to Allah for giving him the opportunity to run an important institution like C-Pack, which would not have been possible without the trust and cooperation of the Prime Minister.

He said that the path of development for the future is based on C-Pac and C-Pac will make us a fully developed and developed country.

He further said that he welcomes Khalid Mansoor. May Allah be the supporter of all.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Imran Khan has appointed Khalid Mansoor as Special Assistant for C-Pack Affairs for which a notification has also been issued.
