The United States has threatened to defend Taiwan against China, threatening its political rival.
The president added that the United States has made a sacred commitment to protect its allies and will continue to protect Taiwan in the same way that NATO is protecting its allies.
While China has already stated that Taiwan is part of China a country’s statement on Taiwan must cross the red line.
This is not the first time that tensions have arisen between China and the United States.
