Beijing: Chinese companies have expressed interest in investing in Pakistan.

Prime Minister Imran Khan’s meeting with delegations of Chinese state-owned private companies in Beijing was attended by officials of leading Chinese technology companies.

During the meeting, officials of the companies discussed investment opportunities in Pakistan and were also briefed on the progress of the ongoing project in Pakistan.

Chinese companies expressed interest in investing in Pakistan’s fiber optic networking housing and dairy sectors, including energy and textiles, while the leading Chinese company also discussed cooperation in the technology sector.

The Prime Minister welcomed the investment of Chinese companies in Pakistan and said that there are tremendous opportunities for trade and investment in Pakistan.

Government is creating a conducive environment for investors. There is a great opportunity to take advantage of business-friendly policies
