Among the happy nations the Pakistani nation is at the forefront.
In the Gallup survey as well, Pakistan has surpassed India among the happiest nations. The majority of Pakistanis are happy and satisfied, while Indians are disillusioned with their lives.
Gallup, the most credible organization for conducting surveys and collecting data, has released its list of the world’s happiest nations for the year 2025.
The survey included 44 countries, with Chinese citizens topping the list of the happiest nations, while Pakistanis ranked 8th. Contrast, in Indian citizens are at the very bottom of this list.
Gallup’s index in Chinese citizens secured the top spot among the happiest nations with 86%.
Gallup’s public survey on happy nations, 72% of Pakistanis expressed satisfaction and happiness with their lives despite all the challenges and difficulties.
On the other hand, in India which claims to be the world’s largest democracy and boasts of high economic and trade growth under the slogan of “Shining India”—citizens are unhappy with their lives.
Only 31% of Indians surveyed expressed happiness, while a higher percentage—34%—expressed disillusionment with their lives.
This fact-based survey highlights the disappointment among Indian citizens under Modi’s government, exposing the hollowness of his claims.
Earlier in March, the United Nations also released a survey report on happy nations.
In that report as well, the Pakistani nation left the Indian nation far behind in happiness. Among 147 countries, Pakistan ranked 109th, while India was much lower at 118th.
This list of happy nations is compiled based on countries’ socio-economic conditions and characteristics such as mutual cooperation.
