Karachi: During Maryam Nawaz’s rally in Shar-e-Quaid, actors also spoke on the violation of sanctity of the shrine by Captain (retd) Safdar.
Leading actor of Pakistani drama industry Khalid Anam says that Fateha is offered at graves and no slogans are chanted.
Actor Khalid Anam says that if Captain (R) Safdar comes in front of me, I will slap him in the face. Respect my Quaid-e-Azam of Pakistan.
He appealed to Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Prime Minister Imran Khan to take stern action against them.
It is to be noted that Captain (R) Safdar had chanted political slogans in the premises of Maryam Nawaz’s Mazar-e-Quaid.
PTI leaders Raja Azhar and Haleem Adil Sheikh had reached the brigade police station to register a case against the leaders including Maryam Nawaz and Capt (retd) Safdar. Police said that a case would be registered if the application was submitted.
It may be recalled that a meeting was held by the PDM in Karachi. Maryam Nawaz, Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari criticized the government at the meeting.
