KARACHI: An armored vehicle was taken to Aziz Bhatti police station to take Captain (retd) Safdar to court. Police will request the court to remand Captain (retd) Safdar.
According to details, a special vehicle was called to take Captain (R) Safdar to court, after which the armored vehicle was taken to Aziz Bhatti police station.
Captain (R) Safdar will be produced in court today, where the police will request the court to remand him.
PML-N lawyers have prepared papers stating that the case against Capt (R) Safdar is based on malice.
Capt (R) Safdar signed the power of attorney while Maryam Nawaz refused to sign the power of attorney. However, the NLA lawyers team has left for the city court with the power of attorney.
On the other hand, Maryam Nawaz is consulting with Shahid Khaqan, Muhammad Zubair, Muftah Ismail and others to get Captain (R) Safdar granted bail or face the situation.
It may be recalled that Captain (R) Safdar was arrested in the case of violating the sanctity of Mazar-e-Quaid. Captain (R) Safdar was arrested from a private hotel.
As soon as Captain (R) Safdar was transferred to the police station, the police seized his mobile phone. He was offered milk leaf tea, bakery biscuits for breakfast, SHO Aziz Bhatti and Investigation Officer Captain (R) Safdar.
