Talking to media after the meeting of the federal cabinet, Fawad Chaudhry said that the concept of sovereignty of the parliament was over and he would file a review appeal against the decision of the Supreme Court.
He said that evidence of no-confidence would be laid before the members of the assembly and if the people did not protect their freedom then Pakistan would be enslaved again. Whether there is a threat of regime change under an international conspiracy will be investigated.
The Federal Minister for Information said that the decision of yesterday endangered the supremacy of Parliament. We will go to the Supreme Court for review of the court decision. We are ready to face any situation. Expressed cebinet confidence in Prime Minister Imran Khan. SC does not have the documents, then how did it come to know that the Speaker misused his mind. Imran Khan is the Prime Minister and we will stay. We are not going anywhere.
He said that the Supreme Court convened the meeting itself and the whole nation stood by Imran Khan.
Our legal team is also reviewing the review and other options. Its a matter for the Supreme Court to review.
