The index lost 1250 points to close at 43,902. 170 million shares were traded during the day.
Shares market turnover stood at Rs 5.49 billion and market capitalization decreased by Rs 184 billion to Rs 7415 billion.
On the other hand, according to Sindh Sarafa Bazar Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola has come down by Rs 100 to Rs 131,200.
The price of 10 grams of gold has come down by Rs 85 to Rs 112,483.
Sindh Barter Bazaar Jewelers Association, the price of gold in the world barter has increased by 1 to 6 1926 per ounce.
