Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to Karachi.

The Prime Minister directed the members of Sindh Assembly and the provincial leadership of the party to strengthen their engagement with the people so that they could be made more aware of various government schemes for socio-economic development.

These schemes include New Pakistan National Health Card Universal Health Coverage Ehsas Card Ration Discount Program and other Poor Farming Measures. Pakistan programs include home financing, cheap business loans and vocational training for young people.

PM also directed to make the people aware that the government is fully aware of their concerns and is taking all possible steps to protect them from the negative effects of high import prices due to high prices of commodities in international markets. The pro-people measures include reduction of Rs 10 per liter price of petrol and diesel and reduction of Rs 5 per unit price of electricity.

100% tax exemption for IT companies and freelancers and 100% foreign exchange holdings and capital gains for investment in IT startups to promote information technology in the country and create vast employment opportunities for youth. Includes 100% tax deduction.

He reiterated that the government was working hard to reduce the negative effects of inflation by creating an investor-friendly environment through targeted subsidies and the creation of vast employment opportunities for the youth.
