Pakistan won the ODI series against Afghanistan.

After the sensational match, Pakistan won the ODI series by defeating Afghanistan in the second ODI as well.

The second ODI was played between Pakistan and Afghanistan in Hambantota in which Pakistan won with a ball to spare after a thrilling contest.

Naseem Shah once again showed aggressive batting to give Pakistan victory against Afghanistan while Shadab Khan also supported him.

Pakistan’s batting

Imam-ul-Haq scored the most 91 runs on behalf of Pakistan, who caught Riyad Hussain off the ball of Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, while captain Babar Azam played an innings of 53 runs thanks to a half-century.
Apart from this, Fakhr Zaman 30, Mohammad Rizwan 2, Agha Salman 14, Osama Mir Safar, Iftikhar Ahmed 17, Shadab Khan 48 and Shaheen Afridi were out by scoring 4 while Naseem Shah scored 10 and Haris Rauf remained not out by scoring 3 runs.

Pakistan team crossed the target of 301 runs with one ball to spare while the national team had only one wicket remaining. On behalf of Afghanistan, Fazlul Haq Farooqui 3, Muhammad Nabi 2, Mujeebur Rehman and Abdul Rehman dismissed one player each.

Afghanistan’s batting

On behalf of the Afghan team, Rahmanullah Garbaz performed well and played a record innings of 151 runs while Ibrahim Zadran got out with 80 runs.

Mohammad Nabi 29, Rashid Khan 2 and Shahidullah returned to the pavilion by scoring one run while captain Hashmatullah Shahid played a not out innings of 15 and Abdul Rehman 4 runs.

Afghanistan team scored 300 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted overs. On behalf of Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi dismissed 2 players while Naseem Shah and Usama Mir took one wicket each.
