The election of the 23rd Prime Minister of the country to be held today was presided over by Speaker Ayaz Sadiq.
Ayaz Sadiq announced that Shahbaz Sharif has been elected as the 23rd Prime Minister of the country.
He said that 174 members voted for Shahbaz Sharif and at the same time members of the assembly raised slogans of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
Shahbaz Sharif will be sworn in as the Prime Minister of Pakistan tonight.
