One day there was a quarrel between the husband and wife over something.
Unable to control her anger the wife said to her husband If you are a man, divorce me. I can’t live with you for a second.
Her husband quietly tried to ignore her.
But the wife said again.
If you are not a man, then divorce me.
Although his wife was a virtuous chaste and virtuous woman all this was coming out of his mouth in a state of anger and on this occasion Satan was trying to his best to separate the husband and wife from each other.
When the woman’s anger increased, she said, if you are a man, do this do that and so on and so forth.
Finally the wife said I need your answer right away and you answer me right away.
Eventually the man was forced to write a few lines on a piece of paper put it inside the envelope hold it in his hand and say By God, this in the door is through which you came with me. Iam done prove that I am a man. Go to your mecca now.
So the woman packed her things and went to her house
When this news reached the people no one could believe that a man is a very kind and compassionate man How could he treat his wife like this?
On the other hand his wife’s days passed in Mecca and gradually his heart began to decline there and he began to suffer from loneliness.
So one day she called her husband and started crying saying you are my everything I can’t live without you you are my everything my soul is my soul just you are everything and so on and so forth.
The man replied Umm Muhammad, what do you want from me now?
The wife said I was wrong to think you were a man but I am a foolish woman.
The man replied that it was your demand which I fulfilled and you let me prove that I am a man.
The wife said Yes you are a man but I am a foolish woman.
When the man saw the woman expressing her helplessness and sorrow in front of him he said Okay just open the envelope and see what I have written to you.
The woman put the phone in her hand and got up immediately. Opened she the envelope and saw the piece of paper in it. It said, ۔
This was the original paper he had given to his wife at that time.
But the wife thought that it would have been written divorce divorce divorce divorce.
When the wife read the paper she began to weep and said O my lord you are also a man of men.
Note to my brothers and sisters to see how the story changed when the husband controlled his anger.
This is the true masculinity and this is the Sunnah of the Prophet.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said No believing man should hate his believing wife or separate her from him.
