According to foreign media reports, a Chinese electric car manufacturing company has decided to set up an electric vehicle (EV) plant in Pakistan and showrooms in major cities of the country.
The delegation, headed by Assistant Chairman of the company, Yu Zhong, met the Vice President of FPCCI and announced this.
He further said that the use of electric cars will save a lot on the cost of petrol and will enable easy and cheap travel for the people.
He said that this is part of the long-term business plan, they are exploring the markets of Pakistan and it is in the company’s interest to set up manufacturing units and showrooms.
