ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan today launched New Pakistan National Health Card Program for Bahawalpur Division.

According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, National Health Cards have already been issued in some divisions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Punjab, Islamabad, Tharparkar, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

With the participation of more than 15 million people from Rahim Yar Khan Bahawalpur and Bahawalnagar districts, the number of eligible families and individuals using National Health Card in Punjab will increase by 63%.

The National Health Card is a revolutionary initiative of the government which will provide free treatment up to Rs. 1 million from government and selected private hospitals.
