The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) meeting reviewed the statistics of epidemic diseases of corona vaccination.
NCOC says vaccination is the only way to stop the spread of OM cron. The NCOC discusses the corona vaccination process.
NCOC was briefed on the number of corona positive cases, mortality rate and new patients.
The statement said that the meeting reviewed the vaccination targets at the district level and was making all possible efforts to achieve the set vaccination targets.
NCOC has suggested setting up of oxygen plants in different parts of the country. Special attention should be given to the installation of oxygen plants in remote areas.
NCOC also directed the provinces to expedite vaccination in view of the Omi Cron variant.
On the direction of NCOC, a campaign has been launched to give booster dose to the citizens. In the first phase, health care workers are being given booster dose. DHO Islamabad says that Pfizer vaccine is being used for booster dose. Dozens are being set up at Nine Park and Tarlai Vaccination Center.
NCOC, in the second phase, people over the age of 50 will be vaccinated against corona, while the third category includes people with low immunity.
