KARACHI: Leading business leader Siraj Qasim has died in Dubai after suffering a heart attack.

According to details, Siraj Qasim Teli, a well-known businessman of the country, was undergoing treatment in a hospital in Dubai for two days due to ill health and died of a sudden heart attack today. Siraj Qasim Teli was transferred to Vanity Fair due to pneumonia.
The mourners include his wife, son and daughter.

Siraj Qasim was in Dubai for his son’s engagement.

Siraj Qasim Teli was a former chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) who played a key role in the country’s economic development.
Siraj Qasim has also been a director of Pakistan Beverages Limited. Born on May 7, 1953 in Karachi, Siraj Qasim Teli graduated from Government College of Commerce and Economics in 1974.

Prime Minister and other political and business leaders expressed condolences

Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Siraj Qasim Tilli and offered condolences to his family.

PTI leader Khurram Sherzaman lamented the demise of Siraj Qasim Tilli and said that the business community has lost a great leader today.

Business leader Karim Dhedi said that he was saddened by the news of the death of Siraj Qasim Teli. Pakistan lost a huge asset. Siraj Qasim Teli used to keep traders together on one platform.

Expressing regret, Zafar Motiwala said that the news of the death of Siraj Qasim Teli is very sad.
