PSL 7 Quetta Pugilists fluently defeated Karachi Lords by 8 lattices.

In the fourth match of the seventh season of Pakistan Super League, Quetta Pugilists fluently defeated Karachi Lords by 8 lattices thanks to their excellent all round performance.

In the match played at Karachi National Stadium Quetta Pugilists completed the target of 114 runs given by Karachi Lords in the 16th over at a loss of 2 lattices.

Will Smaid was dismissed for 30. Ben Duct was run out for two. Ahsan Ali played a brilliant innings of 57 runs. Captain Sarfraz Ahmed remained unbeaten with 16 runs.
Muhammad Imran was the lone gate taker for Karachi Lords.

Karachi Lords were sailed out for 113 in17.3 overs and set a target of 114 for the Pugilists to win.

The Karachi Lords platoon plodded from the launch and half the platoon returned to the kiosk for 34 runs.

Sharjeel Khan scored 10 runs and gave the gate to Sohail Tanveer. Clarke scored 2 runs and returned to the kiosk. Captain Babar Azam remained prominent with 32 runs.
Muhammad Nabi was transferred to the kiosk by Naseem Shah at zero. Lewis Gregory also scored 5 runs. Naseem Shah was hit by Emad Waseem who was dismissed for 26 runs.

From Quetta Pugilists Naseem Shah led five players to the kiosk. Sohail Tanveer took two lattices while Mohammad Hasnain and Mohammad Nawaz took one gate each.
Quetta Gladiators captain Sarfraz Ahmed won the toss and invited Babar Azam XI to club first.

No changes were made in the Quetta Pugilists team while Ameed Waseem was added to the Karachi Lords in place of Ameed Asif.

Babar Azam said that they will try to make big score while Sarfraz Ahmed said that they will try to limit Karachi Lords to low score.
Karachi Lords and Quetta Pugilists lost their first match.
