Australia completed the target of 177 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 19 overs and defeated the unbeaten Pakistan team in the event.

Aust captain Aaron Finch won the toss and elected to bat first.

Pakistan did not make any changes in their squad even against Australia. Batting first, Pakistan scored 176 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

Pak openers also gave the team a great start against Australia and a 71-run partnership was formed between the two.

Pakistan’s first wicket fell in the 10th over when captain Babar Azam scored 39 off 34 balls and was caught by Zampa.

M Rizwan and Fakhr Zaman scored 67 and 55 runs respectively for Pakistan.

Pakistani offensive batsman Mohammad Asif was dismissed without a run on the first ball, while Shoaib Malik returned to the pavilion with just one run.

Australia for Mitchell Starc took two wickets and Pat Cummins and Zampa took one wicket each.
