Karachi PSL 7 Multan Sultans beat Islamabad United.

Chasing the target, the entire team of Islamabad United scored 197 runs in 19.4 overs.

In the match played at National Stadium Karachi, Islamabad United won the toss and invited Multan Sultans to bat first.

MS scored 217 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Tim David remained prominent by scoring 71 runs off 29 balls.

Multan Sultans captain Mohammad Rizwan scored 12 runs, opener Bazshan Masood scored 43 runs and returned to the pavilion while Sohaib Maqsood also scored 13 runs.

Player Tim David was dismissed for 71 off 29 balls while Rousseau remained unbeaten on 67 off 35 balls.

Hassan Ali Muhammad Waseem and Merchant de Lange took one wicket each for Islamabad United.

In reply to Multan’s 217, Islamabad United were bowled out for 197 in the 20th over.

Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan stood out with 91 runs while openers Paul Sterling and Alex Hales scored 19 and 23 runs respectively.

Islamabad suffered its third loss in the form of Rehmanullah who left the team with 15 runs while Asif Ali could add 15 runs.

Khushdal Shah took 4 wickets for Multan Sultans while David Wali took 3 wickets while Anwar Ali and Raman Raees took 1 wicket each.
