Karachi Mufti Muneeb-ur- Rehman has said that lockdown will not apply to mosques from today

Addressing a press conference after the meeting of the scholars of different schools in Karachi, Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman said that all worship including Taraweeh retreat will continue and social distance will also be implemented.

He said that the police have committed many abuses. They condemn the mosque should remain open. An Imam is still in the area. The imam’s job is not to stop those coming to the mosque. Taraweeh and Prayer will be held on Friday.

Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman said that the statement confirms the lockdown will not apply to mosques, but will be followed by doctors on social distances.

He further said that the government should open the eyes and tell the Prime Minister that the utility bills of religious and seminaries should be waived.
