According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan stopped all members of the National Assembly from leaving Islamabad on the issue of taking a vote of confidence and issued important instructions.
Imran Khan directed that all members should remain in Islamabad and ensure attendance at the next meeting. Sources said that the message of the Prime Minister has been conveyed to all PTI members.
It may be recalled that after the defeat of Abdul Hafeez Sheikh from the National Assembly in the Senate elections, the Prime Minister will take a vote of confidence from the National Assembly. A special session of the National Assembly has been convened on Saturday.
PM Imran Khan will address the nation at 7.30 pm today while Sadiq Sanjarani has also been nominated for the post of Chairman Senate.
