ISLAMABAD: Criminal cases have been decided against those involved in the Chinese Crisis

A meeting on the Sugar Inquiry Report chaired by the Prime Minister has decided to file criminal cases against those involved in the Chinese crisis.

Sources said that the cases would be forwarded to NAB and FIA as per the recommendations. The Prime Minister also approved the recommendations to regulate the sugar industry.

The Prime Minister also directed the meeting to work out a mechanism to bring down the prices of sugar.

Talking in the meeting, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the recommendations of the Chinese inquiry report would be implemented and no concession would be made to those found responsible in the report.

In the meeting, the Prime Minister directed that forensic audit of all sugar mills across the country be carried out and those who misused the poor nation could not escape accountability.
