On the night between May 6 and 7, when India attacked Pakistan, it had 75 to 80 aircraft stationed in occupied Kashmir, including notorious Israeli pilots. Due to the timely response of the Pakistan Air Force, the Indian pilots were so flustered that they couldn’t fire a single missile. In retaliation, Pakistan used J-10C fighter jets acquired from China, equipped with PL-15 missiles with a range of 230 to 280 kilometers. Pakistan successfully used these missiles to target enemy aircraft from a distance of up to 190 kilometers.
Three Indian Rafale jets, two other fighter aircraft, and one drone were completely destroyed, while two Indian pilots were killed and three were severely injured. Pakistan’s intelligence has complete details of all these pilots.
Pakistan’s Counterstrike on May 10.
After the Indian attack on the Noor Khan Airbase, Pakistan launched a massive counterstrike in the early morning of May 10, following Fajr prayers.
In this operation, 26 Indian targets were hit, including 14 Indian airfields. J-10Cs, JF-17 Thunders, and hypersonic missiles were used, with successful deployment of Fatah-1 and Fatah-2 missiles.
Pakistan’s military leadership adopted an aggressive strategy for this attack and granted field units decision-making freedom to effectively engage targets.
Pakistan biggest blow of strike was dealt to India’s pride in air defense—the Russian-made S-400. Destruction of the air defense system broke India’s back.
One S-400 battery stationed at the Adampur Airbase was completely destroyed. Pakistan used hypersonic missiles in this mission, which the S-400 failed to intercept.
Later, during Narendra Modi’s visit, attempts were made to showcase the S-400, but the incomplete battery had been relocated from elsewhere.
India’s Silence After Defeat.
When Pakistani aircraft took to the skies again on May 10, there was no response from the Indian side. This silence was, in fact, a declaration of defeat.
A Victory of Strategy and Resolve.
