Dismissed Punjab Governor Omar Sarfraz Cheema has said that the fake government is taking illegal action and will take legal action after consulting lawyers.
Omar Sarfraz Cheema said that he was consulting his lawyers regarding the notification of dismissal.
Omar Sarfraz Cheema said that he would also inform the media about all the issues.
Punjab Governor Omar Sarfraz Cheema has been removed from his post and the Cabinet Division has also issued notification of his removal.
According to the notification, the Governor has been removed from his post on the advice of the Prime Minister. Until the new Governor is appointed, Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervez Elahi will be the Acting Governor of Punjab.
Security has been withdrawn after the removal of former Punjab Governor Omar Sarfraz Cheema by the federal government. According to sources, if Omar Sarfraz Cheema is not the governor then security is not being provided now.
And they will not be allowed to enter the Governor House, so a heavy contingent of police has been deployed outside the Governor House, while the main gate of the Governor House has been closed with a barrier.
Earlier in the day, President Dr Arif Alvi had rejected the Prime Minister’s advice to remove Punjab Governor Omar Sarfraz Cheema.
