ISLAMABAD: The National Security Committee has made important decisions to prevent coronavirus across the country.
According to details, a meeting of the National Security Committee, chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan, was held in which the heads of the three armed forces, the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee. Chief Ministers of all the four provinces, Defense Minister, Foreign Minister, Finance Minister and other special aides attended. On the occasion, the Prime Minister said that we hope we can overcome the Corona virus.

However, the details of the key decisions taken at the meeting to deal with the coronavirus are as follows.

March 23 Parade

All the events on March 23 were canceled in view of the outbreak of the coronavirus, while the parade in Islamabad has also been canceled.
Borders closed

In the meeting, it was decided to close the borders with Afghanistan and Iran for the prevention of coronavirus.
Holidays in educational institutions.

Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood said in a statement on social media that Twitter has decided to close educational institutions nationwide by April 5 at the National Security Meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan. He further said that all schools, colleges, universities, private educational institutes and madrassas will be closed and the situation will be reviewed again on March 27.

Airport closure.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that it was decided at the meeting that international flights from Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi airports will be closed while all other airports will be closed for flights.

Pakistan Super League 5

In view of the coronavirus, all remaining PSL Five matches played in the country will be played in closed stadium without fan cricket, but the Pakistan Cricket Board has also changed the schedule of PSL Five.

Wedding halls and public gatherings

The meeting also decided to ban public gatherings, including schools, theaters and wedding halls.
