England defeated West Indies in the crucial match of Abu Dhabi T20 World Cup.

England achieved their target by scoring 56 runs in just 8.2 overs in reply to West’s 55 runs. England lost 4 wickets in pursuit of the target.

Earlier, England won the toss and elected to field first. Batting first, the entire West Indies team scored only 55 runs. Chris Gayle scored the most 13 runs for West Indies.

West Indies’ Landy Simmons scored three runs. Evan Lewis scored just five runs. Chris Gayle stood on the wicket for a while and he scored 13 runs off 13 balls.

Shermon Hetmeyer scored 9 runs off 9 balls while Devine Bravo scored 5 runs off 5 balls. Ander Russell and McCau did not score any runs.

With the exception of Chris Gayle, no player has been able to enter the double-figure. This is the lowest score by the West Indies in T20 World 2021.

Chris Vokes has been included in the England squad. The match in Dubai is expected to be a fork in the road between the two teams.

Aggressive batsman Chris Gayle will be the center of attention in the West Indies team. He is also considered as the king of T20 cricket and he is also the first century maker of this format. Chris Gayle is 42 years old, but his power hitting is still relevant today.

Cricket world champions England, on the other hand, want to win the T20 World Cup and that could be possible because their squad includes more than one player and includes Jose Butler, who is set to take over the West Indies soon. The match will start at 7 pm Pakistan time.

Keep in mind that in the Super 12 stage, each team will play five matches and in the end, the top 2 teams of Group 1 and Group 2 will qualify for the semi-finals.
