Authentic Indian Butter Chicken Easy Murgh Makhani at Home.

Ingredients:

500g boneless chicken

1 cup yogurt

1 tbsp ginger garlic paste

1 tsp red chili powder

½ tsp turmeric

Salt to taste

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp oil

2 onions (paste)

3 tomatoes (paste)

1 cup fresh cream

1 tsp garam masala

1 tsp sugar (optional)

Method:

  1. Marinate chicken with yogurt, chili, turmeric, salt, and ginger garlic paste for 1 hour.
  2. Fry chicken lightly in oil until half cooked.
  3. In another pan, heat butter and oil, add onion paste and cook till golden.
  4. Add tomato paste and cook until oil separates.
  5. Add fried chicken, cream, garam masala, and a little water.
  6. Cook on slow flame for 10 minutes.
  7. Serve hot with naan or rice.
