Beef Stew (Beef Stew) is a delicious and hearty meal, especially loved in winter, but this dish is enjoyed year-round.
Ingredients.
Beef cut into 500 grams small cubes
Onions 2, finely chopped
Garlic 4-5 cloves, crushed
Ginger 1-inch piece, crushed
Tomatoes 2, finely chopped
Potatoes 2-3, diced into small cubes
Carrots 1-2, chopped
Bell Pepper 1 (optional), chopped
Salt to taste
Black Pepper 1 tsp (or to taste)
Turmeric ½ tsp
Garam Masala 1 tsp
Coriander Powder 1 tsp
Oil or Ghee 3-4 tbsp
Until Meat 3-4 water cup is tender
Fresh Coriander for garnish
Instructions.
- Cooking the Meat.
Ginger garlic sauté for 1 minute.
Add tomatoes and cook until soft.
Black pepper, turmeric, coriander salt and garam masala. Mix well.
Fry for 5-7 minuts Beef cubes until the color changes.
Pour in 1 cup of water, close the pressure cooker, and cook for 15-20 minutes or until the meat is tender.
- Adding Vegetables.
Open Pressure cooker and add potatoes, carrots, and bell pepper.
Add another 1-2 cups of water, adjusting the stew’s thickness to your liking.
For Cook 10-12 minutes until the vegetables are soft.
- Garnishing & Serving.
Sprinkle chopped fresh coriander on top.
Serve hot with naan or rice.
Tips.
If not using a pressure cooker, cook on low heat in a pot for 1-1.5 hours. Chicken Potatoes t stew, or add more water if you prefer it thinner.
For extra flavor, you can add a little gravy or tomato paste.
