Last month songster Lata Mangeshkar was shifted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai for treatment for nimbus. During the treatment, she was diagnosed with pneumonia and was shifted to ICU.
Mangeshkar also holds the world record of singing further than songs in different languages. She’s also known as the songster of Indian races.
Mangeshkar started her career before the partition of India in 1943 at the age of 13, after which she came one of the stylish vocalizers in Hindi cinema.
She has sung over 1000 songs in 36 different languages in her career. She sang most songs in Hindi, Marathi and Bengali.
Lata has advanced her voice to a number of Bollywood actresses, including Aishwarya Rai Madhuri Kajol and Rani Mukherjee.
She was Born on September 28, 1929 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh Lata Mangeshkar has entered multitudinous awards including major Indian Civil Awards, for her singing.
