No more powerful groups will be able to bleed public interest: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan says no powerful lobby will be able to squeeze profits by bleeding the public interest following the results of a detailed forensic audit by a high-level commission.

According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan said in his tweet on social networking website Twitter that I am waiting for detailed forensic audit results from a high level commission before any action is taken.

The Prime Minister said that the results would be compiled by April 25, after the results came out, no powerful group (lobby) would be able to collect profits by bleeding public interest.

He said that a preliminary investigation into the sudden increase in the prices of wheat and sugar has been issued immediately without any promise.

In his tweet, the Prime Minister added that his vision is rare in history; the rituals of personal interests and the rituals of compromise deprived the political leadership of the past from the moral courage on which they dared to issue such reports. ۔

I look forward to the detailed forensic audit results from the High Commission before any action will be compiled by April 25. After these results are revealed, no powerful group (lobby) will be able to squeeze profits by bleeding public interest, insha’Allah.
