The spokesman said that the threat of attack on Iran is a violation of international law and Iran has vowed to respond decisively to any attack.
Spokesman Saeed Khalilzada said on Twitter on Thursday that Israel’s attitude was the result of Western support. Earlier on Thursday, Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz announced that his country was ready to attack Iran. There is no doubt that Iran is trying to tackle the multi-faceted challenge facing Israel.
He said Tehran was consolidating its power in Lebanon and Gaza, deploying militias in Syria and Iraq, and supporting the Houthis in Yemen.
On Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said the alleged attack on an Israeli oil tanker in the Arabian Sea last week was unacceptable and that Israel had all the options to retaliate against Iran.
