Stunning Healthy Makhandi Halwa.

Ingredients

Semolina (Suji) 250 grams (soaked in water for one hour)

  • Sugar 250 grams
  • Grated coconut 2 tablespoons
  • Pistachios 25 grams
  • Ghee 250 grams
  • Green cardamom powder 1 teaspoon
  • Almonds 25 grams
  • Water 1 cup

Instructions

  1. In a pan, combine sugar and water, cooking until the sugar fully dissolves.
  2. Add ghee and cardamom powder to the sugar syrup. Drain the soaked semolina and add it to the mixture.
  3. Roast until the raw taste of semolina disappears.
  4. Mix in the coconut and half of the dried fruits, then remove from heat.
  5. Transfer to a dish, garnish with the remaining dried fruits, and serve hot.
