South Africa’s Nobel Laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu has died in Cape Town at the age of 90.

According to foreign media, Archbishop Desmond Tutu has been praised not only in his own country but also internationally for speaking out against racial discrimination.

1948 to 1991 Desmond Tutu was a supporter of Nelson Mandela in the movement to end the policy of racial segregation and discrimination imposed by the white minority government against the black majority in South Africa.

He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1984 for his role in the struggle to end racism.

South African President Ramaphosa has expressed sorrow over the death of Desmond Totoki, saying he was an activist against racism and a global human rights activist.
Prime Minister Imran Khan also expressed condolences over the death of Desmond Tutu.
