Senior journalist Arif Nizami has passed away.

Arif Nizami had a heart condition and had been undergoing treatment at a Lahore hospital for the past two weeks.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Arif Nizami. The Prime Minister also offered condolences to his family. He said, May Allah grant patience to the survivors.
