Passenger coach hit by train, killing 19

At Sukkur, a passenger coach collided with a train that left 15 dead and several injured.
According to sources, Pakistan Express was going from Karachi to Rawalpindi. The passenger coach tried to cross the railway crossing while the Kundra Gate was open and the train was hit. The accident left 19 dead and several injured. Edhi ambulances have been dispatched to the scene soon after the source reported the accident, but the passenger coach suffered three collisions.

Governor Imran Ismail has directed Commissioner Sukhur to take immediate rescue action, regretting the loss of valuable human lives in the Rohri railway gate accident. Governor Sindh directed that the injured be immediately shifted to the hospital and, if necessary, the injured to be shifted to Karachi.
