Partial lockdown decision in Islamabad

Islamabad: A partial lockdown decree was issued by the district administration on April 7 in Islamabad.

According to the decree issued, all gatherings including social, religious and religious gatherings have been banned in Islamabad and the city-bound public transport will remain closed while public transport to other cities and districts will be closed. Days will remain closed while emergency services will be open, medicine and grocery stores will remain open.

The decree added that it has been decided to reopen the MetroBus service and the Metro will run from 8am to 10.30pm and 3pm to 5pm daily. In the distance, the taxi and cab service will be allowed according to the rules and regulations. It has also been decided to reopen the anchorage and shelters.

The total number of patients has increased to 958 in the country. The number of victims of deadly virus in Punjab has increased to 267. Sindh has 407 patients, 110 in Balochistan and 80 in Gilgit-Baltistan. 78 patients in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 15 patients in Islamabad are undergoing treatment in hospitals. Azad Kashmir also has a deadly virus.
