NCOC ends one-day weekly shutdown across the country.

A meeting of the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) was held under the chairmanship of NCOC Asad Umar in which the disease situation in the country was reviewed in detail in proportion to the level of complete vaccination in the districts.

Said to NCOC that in view of the low prevalence of the disease and the ongoing vaccination campaign, the forum has lifted the mandatory one-day weekly closure across the country. The implementation of NPIs will continue from October 16 to 31.
The number of participants in indoor wedding ceremonies was increased from 200 to 300 while the number of participants in outdoor wedding ceremonies was increased from 400 to 500.

NCOC cinemas and shrines have also been opened for fully vaccinated persons. The existing NPIs will be reviewed at a meeting of the NCOC on October 28-21.

The latest figures released by the National Command and Operations Center, during the fourth wave of corona virus in the country, 1086 new cases of corona were reported in the last 24 hours and 27 deaths were confirmed.
