According to reports, the preparation of corona vaccine has been started at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore. In this regard, the university gave a presentation to the Chief Minister of Punjab for making corona vaccine.
Punjab government will allocate Rs 100 million for corona vaccine. On the occasion, Director University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Prof Tahir Yaqub said that he has asked Punjab government for six months to prepare corona vaccine. The university has all the facilities.
Professor Tahir Yaqub said that if the progress in vaccine development was positive, it would be announced a month later.
It may be recalled that in November last year, Pakistan had started the process of development of Corona virus vaccine. In this regard, Prime Minister Imran Khan had written a letter to the Ministry of Health asking it to prepare proposals in consultation with all stakeholders and the private sector. ۔
It is believed that the development of Covid 19 vaccine is in full swing all over the world and different countries are trying to get ahead of each other in the development of medicine.
