Punjab Sports Minister Rai Timur Bhatti while addressing a press conference said that Arshad Nadeem is the first athlete to qualify. Both Arshad Nadeem and Talha Talib have made Pakistan famous. Arshad Nadeem will go to the airport himself.
Punjab Sports Minister Rai Timur Bhatti said that Arshad Nadeem and Talha Talib will be given Rs 1 million. Mountaineer Shahrooz Kashif will also be given Rs 1 million. Arshad Nadeem’s coach Fayyaz Bukhari will also be given Rs 500,000. The prize money will be given to the three players by the Punjab Chief Minister himself.
Rai Timur Bhatti further said that they are also supporting Haider Ali and Anila Baig who have qualified for the Paralympics. The Punjab government will bear all the expenses of the two Paralympic athletes.
