KARACHI: Traders of Karachi have rejected the orders of Sindh government and announced to open markets and shops on Friday.

According to details, representatives of various trade associations in Karachi while giving a news conference said that they reject the announcement of closing shops in Sindh at 6 o’clock.

Business leader Jamil Paracha said that a joint decision has been taken that the shops will be closed at 8 am and we will not close the business on Friday.

Jamil Paracha said that if force was used, we would allow sit-in.

President All Karachi Traders Union Atiq Mir said that we do not approve of the policies of the government. The traffic situation in Karachi is serious. Due to limited time the situation becomes more serious.

Atiq Mir said that Korona wanted to support the government in the crisis and not to be forced to protest.

On the other hand, business leader Nasir Turk said that we are giving a 72-hour ultimatum to the Sindh government. If the demands are not met, the shutters will be down.

It may be recalled that the Sindh government had recently issued a notification to close markets and shops at 6 pm. The Sindh Home Department said that the markets would remain closed on Friday and Sunday.
