In the 11th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 6, Lahore Qalandars defeated Karachi Kings by 6 wickets. Lahore Qalandars completed the target of 187 runs with 4 balls to spare.
Fakhr Zaman was the top scorer for Lahore Qalandars with 83 runs, Sohail Akhtar and Joe Danley were dismissed without scoring a run while Mohammad Hafeez scored 15 runs. Ben Dunk (57) and David Weiss (29) remained unbeaten.
Muhammad Amir and Waqas Maqsood took one wicket each for Karachi Kings.
Sharjeel Khan was the top scorer for Karachi Kings with 64 runs, Muhammad Nabi with 57 runs and Daniel Christian with 27 runs. Babar Azam scored 5 runs and Joe Clarke scored 4 runs. Waqas Maqsood was dismissed for 12 runs while Emad Wasim, Colin Ingram and Mohammad Amir could not score any runs.
For Lahore Qalandars, Shaheen Shah Afridi took 3 wickets while Ahmed Danial, David Visay, Haris Rauf and Samit Patel took one wicket each.
It should be noted that Lahore Qalandars had decided to field first after winning the toss and while playing first, Karachi Kings had given Lahore Qalandars a target of 187 runs to win.
