ISLAMABAD: The lights of the Prime Minister’s House will be turned off for an hour today on the occasion of Earth Hour.

Earth Hour will be celebrated all over the world including Pakistan today. On the occasion of Earth Hour, the lights of the Prime Minister’s Office will be turned off for an hour today on the instructions of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

In this regard, the Prime Minister said in his message that environmental improvement is one of the top priorities of the present government and give full support to the government for a clean and pollution free environment.

On the other hand, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail also said in his statement on social networking site Twitter that according to the decision of the Prime Minister, like the Prime Minister’s House, the lights of the Governor’s House will remain off for one hour at 8.30 pm. The move will save electricity as well as environmental pollution.

Remember that Earth Hour will be celebrated around the world today to reduce the love of the earth and the rising global temperature.

Today, under Earth Hour, lights will be switched off all over the world, including Pakistan, from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm to show love for the earth. Theme of this year’s Earth Hour is Climate Change to Save Earth.
