ISLAMABAD: The first priority of the government is to save lives and the economy is their second priority.

According to details, Babar Awan, Parliamentary Affairs Adviser, had a special meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan today in which legal and constitutional issues including political, economic and parliamentary affairs were discussed.

The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction over the recent improvement in the economic situation in the country. He said that the latest figures on the economy were encouraging.

The Prime Minister said that saving lives from Karuna was his first priority and reviving the economy was his second priority
The textile industry has seen tremendous improvement since 2016.

Criticizing the opposition, the Prime Minister said that those who chanted slogans of complete lockdown were bulldozing the SOPs themselves today.

Leading lawyer Babar Awan said the government’s economic policies were moving in the right direction. Investors and the business community have also expressed confidence in the policies.

Babar Awan said that the government’s efforts for economic recovery would not be reversed.
