ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has hinted at further reshuffle in the federal cabinet.

According to sources, a meeting of party leaders was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The meeting discussed the latest political and economic situation in the country.

In the meeting, Prime Minister Imran Khan told the party leaders that he had decided to make Sheikh Rashid the Home Minister. Besides, the Prime Minister said that further changes could be made in the federal cabinet if needed.

Earlier, the Prime Minister had made important changes in the federal cabinet and changed the portfolios of several federal ministers. Sheikh Rashid Ahmed was given the portfolio of Interior Ministry while Azam Khan Swati was given the portfolio of Railway Ministry.

Similarly, Dr. Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, who was sworn in as the Federal Minister today, has been given the portfolio of Finance Minister while former Home Minister Brigadier (retd) Ijaz Ahmad Shah has been notified to change the portfolios of the Federal Ministers who have been made Minister for Narcotics Control. ۔
