ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to give open concessions to the opposition for protests.

According to details, the Prime Minister of Pakistan has decided that the opposition will be given free rein to protest. He said that if anyone is interested in protesting, he should do so.

Today, Law Minister Forough Naseem and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Shehzad Akbar called on the Prime Minister and discussed the solution of the country’s problems including legal and constitutional issues and future course of action.
The Prime Minister was apprised of the strategy to bring the cases to a logical conclusion as soon as possible.

Forough Naseem briefed the Prime Minister on the performance of the Ministry of Law. He said that 99.5% of the cases received by the Ministry have been disposed of and more than 100 cases are being disposed of on a daily basis.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the PDM should be allowed to protest in front of the Election Commission but it would not be allowed to take the law into its own hands.

The Prime Minister also directed Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid not to obstruct the PDM protests.

It should be noted that besides anti-government rallies, the PDM has also announced a sit-in in front of the Election Commission on January 19. On the other hand, the Election Commission has convened an important meeting to work out a strategy for the PDM protests.
