ISLAMABAD: Muhammad Abdul Qadir, who is contesting the Senate elections as an independent, will join Pakistan Tehreek-e-InsaF PTI.

According to details, a meeting was held between Prime Minister Imran Khan and newly elected Senator Abdul Qadir from Balochistan. In the meeting, newly elected Senator Muhammad Abdul Qadir announced his joining PTI and expressed full confidence in the Prime Minister.

Prime Minister Imran Khan welcomed Senator Abdul Qadir’s joining the PTI.

In the March 3 Senate election, Abdul Qadir won the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) as an independent candidate.

It may be recalled that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had decided to give the Senate ticket in Balochistan to a man named Abdul Qadir, on which the PTI Balochistan officials had expressed strong reservations.

Later, Prime Minister Imran Khan decided not to give a Senate ticket to Abdul Qadir from Balochistan.
