ISLAMABAD: Jobs will be provided to 65,000 unemployed youth from corona

According to details Environmental Advisor Malik Amin Aslam called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in which the Prime Minister approved the launch of Protected Area under Green Pakistan Program.

The meeting was a follow-up to the Green Stimulus project, which was approved in April.

Under the plan, 12 national parks will be set up across the country. The purpose of the national park is to protect wildlife orchards.

Prime Minister Imran Khan directed all the provinces to take on board at the highest level and said that all the Chief Ministers should be included in the consultative process.

Imran Khan said that such measures would provide employment opportunities in the context of the epidemic situation and would also help in conserving the country’s natural resources.

It may be recalled that in April, Prime Minister Imran Khan had approved the Green Stimulus package. The package is part of the 10 billion tree project and it was decided that natural forest nurseries and tree planting campaign would be promoted in the country. Unemployed people will be included in the scheme on priority basis.

The Prime Minister had said that expanding green area to address climate issues is among the priorities. The project will provide employment opportunities to the youth. The initiative will help in promoting the goals of Clean and Green Pakistan. Holders will be included in the program.
